About KartoKart
High-tech convenience, heart of Malabar
An IITian, an MBA and a CA set out to put the local shops of Malappuram district in a chat. No app to download, no forms — just say what you need.
Why it exists
Keeping local shops in the picture
The problem
Big malls and supermarkets are swallowing Tier-2 cities. Local vendors in places like Kottakkal and Tirur, who have served us for generations, are becoming invisible online.
What KartoKart does
It gives those shops a way to be ordered from by chat — by the people who already live around them — without building an app or a website of their own.
How it runs
How it runs
An AI assistant does the work a shop counter does: listening, finding and putting the order together.
A chat that understands
Type “fish” or send a voice note in Malayalam. The assistant reads it, finds the item at shops nearby, and builds the cart.
Built for the neighbourhood
Customers order in their own language, from vendors they already know, with delivery from riders who live in the same towns.
Simple for shops
Vendors receive orders on a phone app with a loud alert made for a busy counter, and see their sales and payouts in the same place.
