The KartoKart AI shopping assistant

KartoKart's AI shopping assistant is a chat at www.kartokart.com — and on WhatsApp — that turns a message into a cart. You type, say or photograph what you need, in English or Malayalam; it works out each item and quantity, finds them at shops near you in Kottakkal, Tirur and Malappuram, and puts the order together for you to check and pay.

Examples

Things you can say

Examples of real orders. Each one becomes a cart from shops near you.

  • 2 kg onion, Amul milk, 6 eggs, coconut oil

One cart from a supermarket near you

  • ഒരു കിലോ ഉള്ളി, വെളിച്ചെണ്ണ, മുട്ട

The same cart — Malayalam works the same way

  • 2 chicken biriyani and a lime juice

From a restaurant that is open right now

  • 1 kg mathi, cleaned

From a fish stall, cleaned the way you asked

  • Ingredients for chicken curry for four

The recipe's ingredients, as a ready cart

The assistant turns your message into a list: each item, how much, and which kind you mean.

  3. 03

    We find

It checks the shops near you and fills the list from as few of them as it can.

  4. 04

    You order

Check the cart, pay by UPI, card or cash on delivery, and follow the rider to your door.

14 capabilities

Everything it can do

Ask the way you talk

Words, voice or a photo — in English or Malayalam.

  • Say the whole list at once

Type it the way you would tell the shopkeeper. One message in, one full cart out — no searching item by item.

  • English or Malayalam

Ulli, savala, mathi, velichenna — write it the way you say it at home, or in Malayalam script.

  • Just say it

Hold the mic and speak your order. Useful with full hands, and for anyone who would rather talk than type.

  • Point the camera

Show it the empty packets on your shelf and it lists what it sees, ready to reorder.

  • A dish becomes a shopping list

Ask how to make chicken curry and get the ingredients as a ready cart.

  • Medicines by prescription

Upload a photo of the prescription, see which pharmacies near you have it, and a pharmacist reviews it.

It shops like a local

It knows the shops around you and what your town buys.

  • Fewest shops, one delivery

Your list is filled from as few shops as possible, and anything you add later goes to a shop already in your cart.

  • Picks what your town buys most

Ask for “detergent” and it adds the one most ordered in your marketplace — no quiz about brands and sizes.

  • Cooked, or raw?

Noodles, porotta, biriyani rice: when a word can mean a plate or a packet, it asks one question instead of guessing.

  • Compare shops before you pay

The same item at every shop that stocks it, side by side. Switch with one tap.

  • Walk into any shop

Open a supermarket's shelves or a restaurant's menu right inside the chat, and add from there.

After you order

Tracking, reordering and the wallet, in the same chat.

  • Watch it arrive

From “shop is packing” to the rider on a live map, without leaving the chat.

  • Your usuals, one tap

It remembers what you buy. Last week's list is a button, not a chore.

  • Deals, wallet & invites

Offers from shops around you, a wallet for refunds and credits, and a code to invite friends with.

WhatsApp

On WhatsApp too

The same assistant answers on WhatsApp. Save +91 80988 88888, send "Hi", and type your list, send a voice note or a photo of a handwritten note.

Questions

About the assistant

What is the KartoKart AI assistant?

It is KartoKart on the web, at www.kartokart.com. You type or speak what you need — one item or your whole list, in English or Malayalam — and it builds a cart from shops near you, shows the price at each shop and takes you to checkout. There is nothing to install.

Can I write in Malayalam?

Yes. Type in Malayalam script, or write Malayalam words the way you say them — "ulli", "mathi", "velichenna". English works the same way.

Can I order by voice or with a photo?

Yes. Hold the mic and speak your order, or point the camera at the empty packets on your shelf and it lists what it sees. On WhatsApp you can send a voice note or a photo of a handwritten list.

How does it choose the shop?

It fills your list from as few shops near you as it can, so everything arrives together. When you ask for something generic — "detergent" — it picks what is most ordered in your marketplace. You can compare shops and switch before you pay.

Can it order medicines?

Yes. Upload a photo of your prescription in the Medicines assistant; a pharmacist reviews it, and you see which pharmacies near you have what you need.

What happens after I order?

You follow the order in the same chat — from the shop packing it to the rider on a live map. Delivery typically takes about 30 minutes.
